Description:

The kde-window-decorator for compiz has some kinks in Kubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) for me. Emerald seems to work quite well, so I ported the Gutsy window artwork to emerald so I can get all the compiz goodness without the stability problems.

Take a look at the below link for advice with installing Compiz and Emerald. Generally applies to Ubuntu/Kubuntu but should give you a starting point.
