To Install:
*Download file to desktop

*Open Beryl emerald theme manager

*Select import

*Select "Slate-hornglass" from desktop

*Click open

*Select from menu

Ok, does anyone want me to make something? Ex. Gtk theme, Metacity theme, icon theme, etc. Please let me know in the comments!

Can't install this theme as Emerald is dead. Shame, it looks really nice.

Could you please be so nice to create a version for a standard ubuntu, without Beryl/Compiz? The transparent stuff is nice, but the buttons on the window-top are the most important! They are highly visible for a person i know with a visibility handycap.

FYI. The other slatehorn glass themes are in the old Ubuntu Fiesty repo... just download the emerald themes here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/x11/emerald-themes. We need to see some more variations of this kind still, though. The button options is what makes it desirable.

I'd like to see it for non-beryl/compiz/fussion comupers, just as GTK/Metacity theme.

Its no possible to make a Metacity theme like this, because Metacity doesn't support transparency, but I might be able to make something like it.

So many of these themes don't even have all the buttons. This one is actually functional. (and I like the colored-only-when-active effect)

Do you use a ubuntu variant? You can typ in tha packing manger emerald themes in that packing sits also the red one.

Can i get the old version i believe the old one was nicere.

I don't have the file anymore the new one replaced it.

What is the docking application below, it looks very nice.

Can you share all the details of the desktop apps in your screenshot?

The dock is Avant Window Navigator (AWN) and the launchers are in the fallowing order: Firefox, Thunderbird, Openoffice (word processor), Gimp, Songbird, Pidgin, and the terminal. It has a separator that shows the calculator and 2 windows of the Gimp open. I hope that is what you where taking about! :)
