This is a emerald version of my slickness theme,
it fits with all of the slickness themes
except golden.
The fonr it uses is artwiz snap, get it here:
http://artwizaleczapka.sourceforge.net/
to install:
go to emerald theme manager and click import
scroll to the SlicknesS.emerald file.
If you have problems let me know, this emerald
stuff is like astrophysics to me so it
is more than possible something went wrong,
but anyway , it works for me :)

0.2 Changed the buttons so there isn't any
space between them, Changed the font to
zekton, tweaked the shadow.
0.3 Added some sort of glow effect to buttons.
0.3.1 Tweaked the buttons a little bit.
0.4 Added some sort of fading transparency effect
on titlebar.... I don't know, thought it looked cool...
(Check first screenshot to understand what I mean)
Changed the font to artwiz-snap.
0.5 Made the buttons on active window
have more 3d look than inactive windows,
adjusted the font so it's easier to read.

I cannot find the emerald theme at all.. I did like you said, but there is no emerald theme to be found. Not even by distracting the file within the .gz file.
Please help...

Sorry for the noob question, but how can I install and use the font package you are using on Ubuntu?
Best regards,

the package from the site I listed....
if that doesn't work there maybe another way, I'm
not sure what that would be... maybe the
artwiz fonts are available in the
ubuntu repositories... try searching
in synaptic on "artwiz".
hope this helps!

in the font options, they go by their real
name, for example , the one I use is simply
called "snap" and it is the best in my opinion.
If you still can't find them, I really recommend
you follow the readme in the package, since
you have bitmapped fonts enabled you should
see them after restarting x.
hope this helps!

I use the same icon set and sometimes the same background.
How did you manage to make the main menu scroll bar semitransparent?
Report

to make menues transparent:
add this in the opacity settings in ccsm
(type=Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu)
set transparency to 80.. at least that's what
I have.
Hope this helps!
