These Emerald theme remakes were originally designed to fit in with the excellent "Divergence IV - A New Hope" gnome theme created by jurialmunkey, however they also look decent with themes like Ambiance (Ubuntu) and Equinox Ambient. You can try them with any theme that uses dark menus but you might encounter colour mismatches.
Very little within these themes is my own original work. For the most part all I did was tweak the themes included in the Divergence pack using the editing functions in the Emerald Theme Manager and then exported them with new names. The buttons are from the Equinox Ambient and Shiki metacity themes with just a few of my own modifications.

v0.4:
Fixed all the frame shadow bugs. Performed some psychovisual tweaks on the buttons so everything looks more correct. Still not perfect but hopefully I'll be able to stop fiddling now.
----------------------------------------
v0.3:
Although I liked the original styling of the min/max/restore buttons, they just didn't look right when the window in question didn't display both of them. So I've gone for a more traditional look with this update. I've also reduced the saturation of the red close button (on the themes that use it) because I felt that the old red was just a little too vivid.
It was a trade-off, but I personally prefer buttons that look right in all circumstances instead of buttons that look great in some and terrible in others.
Enjoy.
----------------------------------------
v0.2:
There were a few inconsistencies and a bunch of other nonsense I couldn't stop thinking about so I kept at it. I'm much happier with everything now. I've also added two new themes that I quickly threw together for even more variety.
What I find lacking in the various Emerald engines is the ability to create a top title bar frame border that can be hidden when a window is maximized. Because of this, some of these themes are always going to suffer from an aesthetically displeasing transparent border above above the dark title bar. It's not so bad if you have a dark wallpaper but looks terrible when you have a lighter one. But, who knows, it might not bother everyone.
Have fun!

Could I ask for a version of Shiki's Hope with Ambient buttons that work on the left hand side, or would that be too much? :)

The name was just a bit of humour (that probably only I found funny) due to the fact that I was creating a bunch of themes that were a lot like a bunch of other themes. And, of course, you had the naming trend going on already :)
Anyway, you put a lot of work into your themes jurialmunkey, and it is EXCELLENT work. All I've done here is hack together a bunch stuff that other people have created. So I'm going to rename this collection so you are free to use whatever name you want for your next release.
Take care :)
