Description:

This package replaces the aqua-style of baghira with some sort of milk-looking style (see screenshots).

It seemed that the Milkesque-Mod didn't work anymore after Thomas added Milk to Baghira, but with this update it should work again...

added the color-scheme and baghirarc

Can you tell where to get the nice font, and what site does it have ?

That font is called HandelsGotD and is property font (cost money), maybe you can find it somewhere through google or extract it from some theme using it, or you could simply do the honest thing and buy it. /// Freddan

when i changed directory into baghira/deco,and run like
root@mjxian ~/KDE-look/baghira-release/deco
# make

and then lots of errors occurs, such like:

baghiraclient.moc: In member function 'virtual bool Baghira::BaghiraClient::qt_property(int, int, QVariant*)':
baghiraclient.moc:355: error: 'KDecoration' has not been declared
baghiraclient.cc: In member function 'virtual bool Baghira::BaghiraFactory::reset(long unsigned int)':

why these errors occured and how to fix it,please?

I tried to install this theme, but i don´t know what to do :(
I use kde 3.3 and a suse distribution. The folders mentionet in the readme doesn´t exist on my computer.
A better, more detailed, readme file would be a great help!

You have to replace those files in the source, unpack the tarball and replace the pixmaps.h under the style and deco folder en then recompile it.

Another solution is a enhanced milkystyle now intergrated in baghira cvs, it really looks beutiful. /// Freddan

i don´t have a pixmaps.h file at all on my computer, except the one i have downloaded.
and i don´t have the baghira theme too, because it gives me an error while config.
I really don´t know how to manage that :(
But i don´t know very much about compiling and this stuff.

First you need to download baghira. Without baghira it won't work...

how do you remove the line that divides the title bar and the menu bar?

Set "Titleshadow Intensity" of your window decoration to "0" (either with kcontrol or bab) in order to get rid of that border.

Is great!! I always use baghira without stipples, but this look is still better :O

What font are you using?? I like it too much!

maybe you can ask the baghira author (thomas) to add these things to baghira? it would be easier for those just using the packages from their distributors...

Hmm where did my previous post go?

I finally got this theme installed, I put the pixmap.h files where you specified inside the baghira cvs /style/deco and run make, make install, looking nice :).

But how do you get your windowlist that way, whatever I do I seem to get a white line between the list and the actuall window and they doesn't seem to flow togheter as they did in your screenshot. /// Freddan

Sorry I misspelled, I have a blackish separatorline between the windowlist and the actual window (not a white one). My question is how did you manage to remove that one. Thanks for any help provided. /// Freddan

your great mockup doesn't work with my baghira 0.7 as there isn't any pixmaps.h file. does i have to use baghira cvs?

although i dont have any experience with beghira, but are you sure that the files hasn't to be named "bitmaps.h"?

No, it's pixmaps.h
It should be located in baghira/style and baghira/deco. If it really isn't, I'm sorry... try to use kfind.
