This time is really nice and neat, but there is a problem when using it in Ubuntu Dapper.

The Dapper's grub does not show any white mark, so it's imposible so distinguish the selection.

But i can't see which item i have selected because they are all white. Is it possible to show the selected one in another color?

That's what the marker on the right hand side is for

What marker? I can't find anything that can be seen as a marker on the image, nor in it.

I agree the selected item would be much better if highlighted.

GRUB

How to install a grub theme:

  1. Extract the theme to /boot/grub/themes/

  2. Edit /etc/default/grub file. Find the line starting with "#GRUB_THEME" and change it to "GRUB_THEME=/boot/grub/themes/[THEME_FOLDER]/[theme.txt]" (replace [THEME_FOLDER] ; [theme.txt] is probably OK ; remove "[]" brackets)

  3. Run sudo update-grub
