Description:

VERY IMPORTANT, READ THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE POSTING OR DOWNLOADING (and if you don't agree, I don't give a damn shit.)

After months of work, and weeks of tests, this icon sets is finally finished, and released as highly stable and complete (1246 different icons, tested for 2 weeks)

I will never share it in here, but only for Fedora users on a very personal website. If you wonder why, look at Gnome-look.org. This is no longer a website for Gnome users, it's a website for Ubuntu users only, because of all Ubuntu spamers and because of the very bad work of the admins.

So, as ubuntu users are a lot, they can make their own icon sets. I let them do, but as I hate spamers, I will NEVER share it with them.

I do not understand why, but this really does not matter.

BUT.
If you does NOT want the share it here, why do you have a user at gnome-look.org, why do you posted this? Like in children-garden - "I have it but will not give it to you, hehe".

Child, miserably child. That's a pity.

Fortunately there are alternatively nice icon sets.
Because I like MY system as it is nice for ME, not ELSE, and does not matter if it is mac-like, ubuntu-like, windows-like, anything-like. If it is nice for ME, I will (try to) use it.

Not at all. When the Gnominus project started, I did want to share it here with everybody.

At this moment, ubuntu users where spamming this website with "ambiance", "radiance", "lucid" shits. And I HATE spamers.

I tried to tell them "hey dude, use ubuntu-art instead, it's made for this! But they didn't.

So, now that my icon set is full and ready to use, I decided to do not share it with those spamers.

This is because ubuntu is now an alternative for windows for a big group linux users, who are BEGINNERS, more or less.

I use ubuntu. Because do not want to have windows, but can use linux without two-week kernel-manipulating and driver-making-installing. I do not have time neither energy. I have two small children and a lot of work. The two days when installed ubu instead of win and made the broadcom wifi card work under karmic was enough for me. Definitly I do not have more time.
I have read forums about almost all linux distros, but saw a lot of problems everywhere. Ubu has the "biggest" support-team, which means there are solutions for most of problems. This is the reason of ubuntu - for me, and I think for lot more people.

And these users - except some, of course - think ubuntu = linux, so gnome = ubuntu. And gnome-look.org is famous, so ubuntu is gnome, so let's go.
I am not surprized. In US there was a street interview, people was asked: "What is an internet?"
Lot of answers were like: "Google", "A browser" and more like this.

I do not think this "spamming". If somebody wants, can find the value.

P.s. sorry for the previous multiplication, I have terrible internet connectino and the browser sent it three times. Hopefully it will not do it. :)

&BTW, fedora is just as easy to install as ubuntu.

I don't care that ubuntu is easy to install or to use. I dont give a shit about it.In fact it's the only thing that ubuntu can be proud of. I don't like ubuntu because there's a lot of proprietary code in it, and for some other reasons, like ubuntu users who can't choose what will be in their own distro, for example, or canonical that use ubuntu only for making money.

Whatever, I hate ubuntu users that think gnome-look is only for them, instead of ubuntu-art.

They want to be as stupid as it, ok. Here, I just say I don't agree with them, I don't agree with ubuntu-look. That's it.

If ubuntu users are unhappy with it, i'm very glad. Every comment here makes me smile a lot.

I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion. I do think it's funny that you criticize ubuntu's unpure open-source implementation of linux, while closing your own work from the world.

Surely you realize that many users of other distributions would enjoy your works as well?

It's not a pleasure for me to do not share it here. really not.

But I just don't want to share it with those ubuntu spamers. Look at the index of the website. Actually there are FIVE wallpapers "ubuntu lucid" on the 10 wallpapers.

Those guys want here to be only for ubuntu users. It's ok. But I'm not an ubuntu user, so as they share their wallpapers for ubuntu users only, I'll share my icon set with fedora users only.

I think it's really fair.

It's unfair for the others distros users, but it's not my fault, it's ubuntu users and spammer's fault.

You know that gnome-look is for gnome users that includes users of Ubuntu as well as Fedora, Arch, Debian ect users
so its normal that you see many Ubuntu related stuff here because Ubuntu is the most used distro.
You said they share their wallpapers only with Ubuntu users only but that isn't right.
They made it for Ubuntu users, yes but they share it with everyone and the same does the Arch, Debian and also the Fedora user.
