Well the change of the folders was done for the reason as talked about before (Too hard to see on white backgrounds). I personally never had a problem seeing the folders on a white background in Nautilus but that maybe due to my monitor settings in brightness and contrast (Left at Auto).

I did try using the nuoveXT/2 folder icons in older versions which where not released but I found the KDE Crystal Project folder icons more fitting

I will look in to improving and changing the original folders icons so they are easier to see, in the coming future versions

Thanks again for all the feedback and comments

Thanks for the comment, as you can see this theme pack is ever changing thanks to all the feedback this icon theme pack has got.

0.6 will include more options so the user can chose which icons they use personally e.g. folder icons

I believe this is the best solution as this allows the user to chose but this will increase the file size

Is there a way to get the old Pidgin icon back? I really like the two transparent chat boxes, and the new icon looks too much like the MSN icon style.
Other than that, FANTASTIC icon set!

the icon for games was created by IconFactory and not GPL/LGPL/CC

I've been looking for a photo-realistic Gnome icon theme that didn't get one thing or another screwed up. Fantastic.

Thanks for the comment, your comment summed up why I started this theme.

I am glad your enjoying the theme also tomorrow hopefully, I will upload my modified version of Soft BSM GTK Theme

There will be 0.4 update, I have just been very busy with my computer degree and part time job but hopefully, I will be able to release 0.4 out tomorrow

For the next version, can you improve the contrast on the top and left of the folder icons, or maybe make the inside of the folders a little less bright? The icons look great on a desktop, but in a Nautilus window (unless using a dark theme) the white-against-white can make the folders a little hard to see.

That's my only gripe. A fantastic icon theme otherwise.

Thanks again for commenting, I am thinking of replacing all the folder icons to KDE SVN Folder Icon
http://websvn.kde.org/*checkout*/trunk/kdesupport/oxygen-icons/128x128/places/folder.png?revision=940055

What do you think, if not any ideas for which icon to use?

Currently the icon theme uses the icon from Crystal Project which is found on KDE-Look

Everything is clean and beautiful.
One suggestion, some icons with lots of white regions are hard to recognize especially on white background, e.g. pidgin, folders, etc. Could you make them a little bit more visible? Or you may add borders/shadows to them.

Keep it up!

And one more thing, the restore icon is missing, could you fix it?

Too big is my only complain. It eats a lot of disk space...

Overall, I really like the theme. It seems to be very complete and consistent. The only thing I see as being at all inconsistent, icon wise, are the mac style documents. Other then that it is a truly lovely theme. Keep up the the good work.

Thank you for the comment, I would agree with you on the "mac style icons" but now it is released I can do small changes to the icon theme pack like "mac style icons"

Thanks Again

Also there will be a 0.2 Update Tonight

The gconfeditor icons are derived from Apple's Xcode icons and is likely a copyright infringement.

Do a Google image search for "xcode icon" and you'll see it's a ripoff of that.

Thanks for heads up on the icon, I just assumed it was LGPL or GPL as found it in a icon theme on here under LGPL or GPL

It will be replaced for 0.2

Thanks Again

An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.

If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.
