Description:

After installing the theme like any other, run the script with this command:
cd ~/.icons/ACYL_Icon_Theme_0.9.4/ && bash AnyColorYouLike

A monochrome icon theme that comes with a script to modify the icons.

I develop this icon theme on my free time because I find it interesting. But if you appreciate it and want to give something back, consider donating via paypal using the donate button.

- Included instructions for translation.

Oh, I see. I haven't made specific icons for those "places". When switching from a theme that has specific icons for those "places" gnome-panel still tries to find the specific icons.

Try to restart gnome-panel by typing:
killall gnome-panel
in the terminal. Or logging out/in.

Now the usual folder icon should be there. If it doesn't work I can release a quick-fix.

For the next release I will consider making specific icons for videos, music etc.

I love your icon theme very much,but it doesn't work perfectly on my ubuntu9.10,some icons in the "Places" are missing.How can I fix it?

Oh my god! It replaces the colour of EVERY icon! I got surprised when i saw my Opera icon changing!

Simply gorgeous, mate!
A lot of icons are missing, i.e. Filezilla, GoogleEarth ... but it's a wonderful theme! Congratulations!

this is epic. it's so easy and so customizable, and it's the only icon theme i can get to look decent with my matrix themes.

This is unspeakably, astonishingly amazing! I was around for the first release, and I really dig the changes. I am really in total awe at my desktop now. I want to keep seeing people download this, and for this to rise to the top! thank you.

(some feedback: I agree that the folder icons are a little plain and may need a change just because they're ubiquitous. I'll keep an eye out for other fixes.)

Thanks for your feedback! The folders is something I have been thinking about for some time now and I have a pretty clear idea of how I should improve it. I will get around to it eventually but right now I'm in the process of moving and starting my studies at the university so theming my desktop is not something I will prioritize. =P

I loved this in the previous version, but with the new gradient effect and the much more involved app to control it - damn, this is just a really fun icon set with a damned distinctive look, something to really stand out. Nicely done!

Great update--love the gradient option! Makes it look really polished. At least, as long as you choose reasonable colours. ;-)

The ALLBLACK and area.o42 icon sets have been my favourites for a long time. This is the most original and useful icon set I have ever found. I expect to be using it constantly for a long time to come! My only disappointment would be the folder icons. I have to admit, compared to the area.o42 folder icons (those are particularly sharp looking), or the ALLBLACK ones, these are rather ugly. Wonder if you could provide some extra options to allow a choice of folder icons? But anyway, GREAT idea! These make me very happy. :-D

Thanks for your feedback. Personally I kinda like the folder icons. But I guess it wouldn't be to hard to implement something like the logo switch function but for folder. However that would require some new designs and thats not a priority for the next release, maybe the one after that.
