7 .4
Description:

A theme inspired by my earlier work "Adwaita-cupertino" but looking softer contrasts and less "cupertino"

Added gnome-shell theme adapted to GrayDay
The gnome-shell theme is a modification of the nice theme "Ambiance Blue Theme Suite" created by satya164
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ambiance+Blue+Theme+Suite?content=133676

Requirements: Gnome 3.4, GTK3 unico-engine, GTK2 Murrine and Pixmap engines.
Tested in Fedora 17 Gnome 3.4.x and Unity/Ubuntu 12.04

IMPORTANT: Inside the theme folder there is a readme.txt file with some instructions for customizations.
- 6 presets for change the highlight color scheme easily
- 5 styles for nautilus
3 styles to fit gnome 3.4 (gnome-shell) without globalmenu
2 styles specific for unity, to fit gnome 3.4 with globalmenu

- 5 styles for tabs (tabs-themed, tabs-themed-light, tabs-dark, tabs-gray, tabs-classic) see screenshot 3
- 2 styles for unity top panel (default theme and dark)

Man, I appreciate your help a lot, it worked. Sh*t, I know nothing about css, good old gtk2 theming was a pleasure :) Do you know how to make the font of the current "breadcrumb" not bold but regular? And one more .. two more questions: where do I set the hover background and selected background for nautilus item view? I changed the selected bg in gtk.css and settins.ini but nautilus selected items are too white now and some of checkboxes are still blue..

The bold font, I do not know how to fix it (I think it can not be fixed)

The checkboxes are images .svg in folder /gtk-3.0/assets

The rest is a bit complicated, give me 1 or 2 days and put it to make it easy to modify

btw could I post some things that IMO need improvement here? e.g. text placement at tabs (too close to the top) http://itmages.ru/image/view/524292/02d2001a

In my other theme MediterraneanNight something similar happened with synaptic.

In the next update will give a similar solution, not entirely satisfactory, but it works.

Thanks for adding yet another nice theme to your rich treasure chest :-)
Although it's becoming more difficult to decide which one to choose ;-)

As a possible improvement suggestion (or maybe this is just a matter of personal preference) I think Nautilus Search bar background colour might look better with a softer alternative, and the location/toolbar background colour might also look better in the same (or just a little different) shade of grey as in the window decoration.

Hello sadi, you have the option to put in nautilus the path-bar in gray, see the readme.txt file and set the option gnome-applications-gray.css for nautilus.

respect of background of the search bar ... let me think about it ;)

Really M satisfied with this theme in Ubuntu 12.04. Everything is ok except for Unity panel in transparent mode (by custom in gtk3.css). I believe you will find the solution to fix.

You have to think that a beta is a beta, not a final version. Ubuntu 12.04 is BETA
There is no software that supports beta versions, may work better or worse, but something always fails.

I think working with beta versions is an user error. Beta versions are for testing (mainly developers) and can not be expected to function as a final version.

I can not fix that.
That has to be solved in any update of ubuntu 12.04

If I draw a line in a color, and the theme engine draws it from a different, how do I fix that?

Hi there,

I really like the theme, but have some serious issues with it. In gnome nor firefox I can't see radio buttons or check boxes, unlike firefox in gnome apps I can see checks in the radio button/checkbox (but don't see the button/box itself thus). In firefox I can't see the checks either making it very difficult to know what is selected.

Any ideas? I don't really want to go back to adwaita (what the heck where they thinking with those huge bars? I'm not blind... widescreens are costing me more vertical space than I'd like already :)).

By rule out some things:

- What distro do you use?
- In GTK2, Murrine and Pixmap engines are correctly installed?
- Other GTK2 apps show well the radiobuttons and checkboxes?
- The theme is installed in "/usr/share/themes" or in "/home/PersonalFolder/.themes" ?
