MediterraneanNight Series 2.03
12 Themes for Gnome 3.6.x and 3.8.x
* IMPORTANT *
- GTK2 theme uses gtk2-engines-murrine and gtk2-engines-pixbuf
- Inside the theme folder (MediterraneanNight) there is a readme.txt file with some really simple instructions to customize the theme (styles for nautilus, 4 tab styles, metacity buttons)
- Ubuntu 12.10 comes by default with gnome 3.6 and nautilus-3.4 (though you can upgrade to nautilus-3.6), but if you have nautilus-3.4, you must set the theme for nautilus-3.4, as explained in the readme.txt
- Almost all the themes are the same, varying between each of them only the color scheme and some bitmaps, which provides an opportunity for the more restless to create your own theme with few changes.
Take for example the series MediterraneanTribute
Known issues:
- qBitTorrent with MediterraneanGrayDark.

The default installation of the package gtk2-engines, not install you really need, which is this:
Murrine GTK2 engine
gtk-murrine-engine-0.98.2-3fc19
- MediterraneanNight also support nautilus-3.4. (see readme.txt)
---------------------------------
* Select style for nautilus *
---------------------------------
Edit the file ../MediterraneanNight/gtk-3.0/gtk.css
go to the last line of the file, there are seven options for nautilus:
Nautilus 3.6.x for gnome-shell 3.6.x and/or unity (by default)
@import url("nautilus36.css");
3 options for nautilus 3.4.x (gnome-shell)
1.- "gnome-nautilus34-gray.css" (nautilus sidebar and toolbar dark gray)
2.- "gnome-nautilus34-light.css" (nautilus sidebar and toolbar light)
3.- "gnome-nautilus34-gray-light.css" (nautilus sidebar dark gray and toolbar light)
3 options for nautilus 3.4.x (UNITY)
1.- "unity-nautilus34-gray.css"
2.- "unity-nautilus34-light.css"
3.- "unity-nautilus34-gray-light.css"

It is more logical to think that something is wrong in your system?
It has tried to download the file with another browser?
Just download and unzip the file without any problem (5 mins ago)

Did you install the theme in /usr/share/themes?
It occurs when you select the gtk theme or metacity (window theme) ?

But it would be good to find out because it gives the problem.

With "MediterraneanNight" it was simple, there was no competition. But now you released another very beautiful theme with "Uncomplicated", although different, now I can't choose.
I especially like the consitency between tabs in Nautilus and the rest in "Uncomplicated".
I think "Uncomplicated" should be the default face of Gnome! I hope yur talent will be recognized and made "official".

You can download the theme of the second link? (Uncomplicated-Beta)
A similar thing would be good?
off topic:
If you use one of these options (in gtk.css), nautilus 3.4 look better
3 options for nautilus 3.4.x (UNITY)
1.- "unity-nautilus34-gray.css"
2.- "unity-nautilus34-light.css"
3.- "unity-nautilus34-gray-light.css"

1. The TributeBlue theme in XFCE doesn't look like the screenshot (the menu is still gray): http://tinypic.com/r/o72dlw/6
2. You left MediterraneanNigh-xfce-wide-border.tar.gz inside the MediterraneanNight folder. Not sure if it was intentional but I have installed it and the wide border looks very nice. May be make if official in next release?

You should select the same in both, windows theme (window manager) and gtk theme (appearance) MDTributeBlue
And yes, due to a bug in Xfce with the borders of one pixel also put the option of wide borders for all themes in Xfce, but for next update, I need a little more time.
I'm learning now how to work the Xfce windows themes

I have tested all Mediterranean themes + various Windows borders. The best combination I like so far is MediterraneanNightDarkest + BlueBird:
http://tinypic.com/r/jtscd1/6
(Please note: to read better, I need to improve the contrast, I have changed the font color to black by editing the /usr/share/themes/MediterraneanNightDarkest/gtk-2.0/gtkrc)
