For now has only the gtk theme until I can finish new metacity. Finally got around to fixing color schemes so color changes can be made from gui. Still basically a two (or four, if you count selected areas) color theme but one can get pretty dramatic with the colors while preserving the theme's integrity. Still works best with darker colors, certain features will always make this so.
Currently shown with perfection metacity theme. Also looks very cool with mio69's hifi style metacity when you're in a retro mood.
This is the third evolution of Tactile, the theme that has been my desktop maybe five years now. Numerous usability tweaks to ease eye strain and minimize plasma monitor burn-in. Plays well with everything from laptops to big screen tvs.

14/09/09 3.10 Added color schemes to allow changing colors on the fly from gnome theme changer applet.
Already updated 12/09/09 because I uploaded wrong archive and screenshot. Minor change: menu borders are supposed to be rounded to match other borders.
Other details are lost since art.gnome.org now totally sucks and took down all the relevant info.
Original Tactile was posted here by smegma in 2006. http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Tactile?content=40771
My, how you've changed!

The font is Simplement. No idea who made it or where to find it, I found it long ago in an archive.
The background is a shot of apnea from her site.
