My first attempt with gimp. Chose a dark background since that should hide most of my "amatuerness" :^)

This is pretty tame compared to the Job's Urology wallpapers being posted.

Sheez.

First banning of scantily clad females and now all this religious claptrap.

Things do not look good.

I like it, though I do already hear masses of people screaming like "no message whatsoever on any wallpaper should be allowed! Violation should be punishable by castration!". (the death penalty has gone a little of of fashion lately, so...)

One more thing - Maybe you can use a larger eclipse picture (that is, not where the actual sun is larger, but one with more surrounding background). The edges are pretty visible, which imo does not look too well.

doesnt have to be...abstract wallpapers are not kde related....girl wallpapers arent eithr and i dont see you complaining about them. Also, it is an attractive wallpaper if it was brushed up - give people a break, you hardly ever upload anything and all you see over peoples new uploads (especially wallpapers) is NO
blah blah this is crap not kde related....Alex Perrin. you need to ask yourself if good wallpapers on windows have the windows logo on them. do they? no . and all the nature wallpapers on here are good - they dont relate to KDE (except there beautiful :P) and this site IS: "eye-candy for our kde desktop" - NOT: "eye candy strictly related to KDE for your kde desktop"
Stop criticising mindlessly, we dont all want the kde gear on our desktops all the time!

look im stateing my opinion...dont like it? to bad. and as for me not uploading much is not true at all.... and if u would look at my comments they anrt all like the one u have said. They just recently have been bad b/c i have seen a lot of bad wallpapers and i along with many people are upset with it. Again i said its my opinion ..... i dont mean to be an ass or anything but iv just been angry with the quality of work being posted on this site.

Iam very sorry if i have offended anyone with my comments (opinions)

I wasnt complaining about your comments on quality - it's every man to his own opinion in that field - I was complaining about the fact that you think everything on here should be KDE-related. That is obviously not the case - as I have already stated in my previous comment.
