This is a picture I took a couple of years ago of the Parkes Telescope (radio) in central New South Wales, Australia. The telescope is featured in the movie The Dish.

I have a few other great photos of telescopes around that area if any of you want them. (including a couple of the Australia Telescope interferometer, as well as Mopra, Schmidt and Sliding Springs if I can find them :))

Also if you want me to delete the text I will!

That would be great. I uploaded this one to the wikimedia.commons to use it for the german wikipedia. There is still lack of good photos of telescopes, so probably you want to submit it to the commons ;)
