If it makes you feel any better, I've been guilty of the same thing myself. In my case, it was a neat photo a co-worker E-mailed me, and I wasn't aware that it had appeared in an issue of National Geographic some ten years or so ago, and as soon as I learned about that, I promptly removed it.
