Description:

Foresight Linux is a Distribution which showcases some of the latest and greatest from GNOME. Some of the things that may not be mature enough for some of the other distros.

Where does the name Foresight come from? Glad you asked! Many things about Foresight are innovative, not just some of the applications that are included. The biggest of which is Conary, which is a new way of looking at package management. Also, a work in progress, Oversite for web based systems management.

The Foresight Logo was created by the talented Mr. Jonathan Schemoul (jon1012) who's Homepage is http://www.jondesign.net. I have added his wonderful logo to a background that I have made to show support for Foresight Linux http://www.foresightlinux.com.

The text's font and the drop-shadow's opacity don't work well with the logo in the center.

I agree, I think it would look better without the text, just the Foresight Logo.

I think the idea is nice. I just think the font needs to be smoother and look more like that of the logo, and the drop shadow needs to be darker, to match the rest of the image. It's your art of course.
