Download links work, but the wallpaper is white with an Ubuntu logo in the middle.

It is not all white.. There is an ubuntu logo faded with png's ultra cool alpha transparrency option.

That way you can change the backgroundcolor in your ubuntu Desktop Background Preferences to yout favourit color or gradient..

Thats why it is called CustomColorBuntu..

..like bluebuntu you know, but with your favourit color :P
