Description:

This is a warm and inviting wallpaper that I made to symbolize the feeling of owning a Linux machine.

This wallpaper set contains PNG format images with transparency. The "LINUX" is transparent to allow you to choose your own color. If you try to use this background on Windows, you may not get the full effect of the previews.

Two Versions: Black or Gray

Image Resolutions:
* 1280x1024
* 1440x900
* 1600x1200
* 1680x1050
* 1920x1200

All I'm finding is a d/l for a black and white version? Where are the colorful ones? And where's the other screen resolutions?

This is a transparent background. The "LINUX" is transparent to allow you to choose your own color. Unfortunately, this capability does not work on Windows.

Nice work I notice you have used the spiderman psd pattern for the inset mesh
How did you run that with gimp or did you use Photoshop for that?

Actually, everything in this image was created from scratch using Xara Xtreme for Linux.

hmm Xara I'd like to know more about using that software... I have used it a little but found that I was unable to find much in the way of decent tutorials for it which is a shame.
