a painting by Stanislaw Witkiewicz (1893) named "mgla wiosenna" ('spring fog').

i hope it has no copyright any longer. if it does, please let me know and i'll remove it.

This is public domain, not Artistic 2.0.

oh, perhaps. and could you tell me which one it is? i've tried to change it now but it only says gpl, lgpl, artistic and so on, but none is called public domain.

well, photos of 19th century paintings aren't usually heavily copyrighted, are they?
besides, you can easily downloaded for free from quite a few places on the internet; this is just another one so it couldn't be too much harm in itself.
