What is this?
With Wani I'll try to develop a nice background effect with lighting and other, to improve Ubuntu looking. For thato purposed i use a Mpeg video which will be set as wallpaper by XwinWrap.
How could i get it running
First of all you need:
- Compiz or Beryl
- mPlayer
- XwinWrapper
If you don't know how to install XwinWrapper please follow my guide
http://embracesblog.mine.nu/?page_id=117
If you got all requirements, just extract the video into the folder you prefer and run
xwinwrap -ni -o 0.3 -fs -s -st -sp -b -nf -- mplayer -wid WID -quiet -vo gl2 -ao alsa '/path/to/video/Wani.mpg' -loop 0
For major information on how to make it running and how to configure XwinWrap please Check

Now What?
Obviously this is just a pre release and the effect is quite archaic. I'll try to improve my skills on creating animations and converting them to video.
Can i have a look?
Yep obviously i made a preview but it quality is quite low..
