You can also take a sprinker and make drops artifically on choosen object. It is especially good if you want to make a photos not in the nature but eg. in your room, or if you cannot wait for a rain ;-)
It is really interesting what big differences are observable in drops behaviour on different surfaces, eg. on leaves of different plant species. Even some of grass species carries big, nice drops, others much smaller (but also nice) droplets. Looking for nice drops is quite fun kind of hunting ;-)
