Inspired by the artwork of the game "Destroy All Humans" I decided to try my hand at a B-Movie Poster type wallpaper. This is the result.
The 4:3 Aspect Ratio packages should be suitable for the following resolutions: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x960.

12-11-05: Added 4 new Beastie versions. If anyone knows where I can find a larger picture of Beastie let me know. I had to scale the one I found and it's a bit pixelish. A crystalized Beastie would be very cool as well.
05-28-06: Updated the 4 Beastie versions with Beastie from http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=37612
05-29-06: Packaged wallpapers grouped by location(Berkeley or Finland) and size. Each package contains both the full and partial text versions. Also added the laptop aspect ratio as requested.
I've also added links the the xcf (Gimp) files in all 3 sizes. With the Gimp files you should be able to create a Beastie/Berkeley version with a blue background or save as a png with no background at all and use your own colors.

Could you please upload a 1600x1200 (4:3) version of Berkeley?
It would be my default wallpaper again =)
Thanks for your work!

Please keep up the good work !
kde-look depends on it ... and lately, the good work has only showed up in here in really few .. and far between occasions ..
btw: could you please add 1280x800 res versions of both wallpapers?? (1280x800 is default res for 15.4 inches notebook's monitors)
Thanks !

This is bad to show - people scared by open source. Someone may understand point of this wallpaper bad, such as 'open source is not good' - this would be very bad, i think.
The author is also unsure about the licence. I think he may mention name of author of that nice shining tux. (I think this nice tux is somewhere from kde-look.org, but i am unsure.)

BTW, between work and home I use FreeBSD, OpenBSD, PC-BSD, various Linux distros, AIX, Solaris, AND Windows (95, 98. 2000, XP, NT and Server 2003). In no sense of the word do I HATE windows.
