By so far, this would be one of the most smoothest metal themes I've seen for Linux. I have seen many of them but they never look smooth. Something I've never liked from the metal themes is that the png images are very obvious in the layout of the window, by that I mean that one can see the little squared pngs making up the window. I would imagine that making such a theme is very difficult, which is why I believe that voting down on your work would be a very unthoughtful thing to do. Keep up the good work man.

This is identical to 'Sunday' theme - except that you replaced the nice 'tan' colour with rather bright blue

The blue is too bright, I think Sunday is nicer - and it's been done a lot. A very pale blue would have been nicer.

the H2O themes do a nice variation on red/yellow/green gadgets looking like water. This is not a bad attempt, but to simply copy Sunday theme and recolour the subtle yellow-gold glass effect with a bright blue seems pointless. Even the emerald gadgets are the same! Metacity does a better job, I run Sunday theme with OS V or 'thinner' metacity borders, because 'emerald' tends to show artefacts and looks cheap when you move the window around.

hi guys,
i am a newbie and i liked the theme A LOT .. it is exactly what i was looking for.
i installed it and i am getting a message in the appearance window
"the theme will not look as intended because the required GTK+ theme engine is not installed" ...

not sure what i have to do :(
please help

One ask? Can you create a Theme based on this, but without Mac-typical stuffs? It would be wounderfull. The Panel shouldn't be one color ;) A lot of people would thanks you... because a Linux-Theme based on this could be very great! What you mean?

The overall look is lovely, however, the bugs and some detailing prevent it being used. The main one is the one that's been pointed out already, but there also seems to be an issue with the tabs within Firefox 3, not sure if the slight deformation is intentional...

Also, I'm not mad about the "highlight circles" when moving the mouse over toolbar elements, it looks crude. IMHO would look better using squares/rectangles similar to Aurora Smooth.

I'm not sure if I'm making sense as I'm just about to go to bed, if you want to me clarify, I will.

Still a VERY promising theme. Thanks

I like the texture, but it has far too many bugs to look very nice. The toolbar and the rest of the window aren't aligned properly texture-wise, for instance.

And the buttons/scrollbars are a bit too mac for my taste.
