Description:

to use knoquerer as a root filemanager do the following:

add a "link to application" on the desktop
name it "root manager" or somethin. then go "Application/command"

under command:

konqueror --profile webbrowsing
(or if this doesnt work just try putting konqueror)

then click on advanced options

then select "run as different user"

under Username put: root (or some other username if you wish)

then you can click that icon and add/delete/change root files without actually being root.

sorry maybe it's me, but I don't really

Just a question: How is this different from:
K-menu -> System -> More Programs -> File Manager - Super User Mode

Couldn't you just use that existing one and make a copy of it on the desktop?
