KGoogleApplet is a Kicker applet that allows you to search the web in a fast way, it embeeds into Kicker and shows an input box, type there your query and press Enter, it will take you to google and will show you the results.

I use Suse 9.1 - KDE 3.2
I installed the tar.gz - but I find no possibility to start the applet.
