Description:

Here are some mousegestures for KHotkeys.
(KHotkeys is included in KDE >= 4.3 by default)

It supports:

- Chromium
- Chrome
- Opera
- Firefox
- Arora
- Rekonq
- Konqueror
- Dolphin
- Kontact

(requires KDE >= 4.3)

Installation:

Just go to Systemsettings -> InputActions and import "browsergestures.khotkeys".

Make sure gestures are enabled. The default mousebutton is set to "2" (mouse wheel). I prefer "3" (right button). You can change these settings at "settings".

Now, if there was a mouse gesture for minimizing the browser window.

Yes, that would be very nice. But I can't include it because there is no keyboard-shortcut/shell-command for this action :(

Or does anybody know this shell-command?

See the wmiface utility (not shipped as part of KDE though).

This also works for the Konqueror kparts in Akregator and Kontact if conditions for those two applications are added.

Thank you very much. I have added Kontact to conditions.

espacally opera? opera has mouse guestures included already and they work better than in any other browser out there.

Yes you're right. You can deactivate the condition "opera".

But when you do this it is not possibly to do global mouse gestures in Opera. There will be a conflict between the gestures of opera and the gestures of KHotkeys.

KHotkeys is not only a gesture-system for browser-gestures. I use it also to start programs.

This item is awesome! I have long had the capability in Firefox and I so often wished for it in Dolphin, Konqueror, and especially Opera. Great job!

Definetly this should be included in KDE4 by default!

Fantastic! I didn't know KHotkeys has such great mouse gestures capabilities. Works great on my Arora. One thing though - I doubt Firefox support is necessary, because there are many great Firefox plugins for mouse gestures.

Those who want to use their firefox-gestures can deactivate the condition "firefox" in the settings.

Greets!

1 less addon for firefox.

I mainly use konqueror so never bother with that addon. No I no longer get frunstrated using firefox

I can use the gesture, but no mouse track is displayed.

It is possible to enable the track?

Hi!

I'm sorry, this is currently not supported in KHotkeys.

But a friend of mine is working on this. Maybe it's done in later versions of KDE :)

Hi, nice one! Is it possible to add Gwenview?
Thanks :-)

Thank you :)

As far as I can see there are no predefined keyboard-shortcuts to navigate in Gwenview. This is why I cannot link any mousegestures to the (missing) shortcuts.

I'm sorry for that :(

The only available commands are "go up" and "go to your home-directory". You could set some keyboard-shortcuts in Gwenview for this and link it in KHotkeys. I'm afraid "go back" and "go forward" do not exist :(
