I try for the first time to install a new theme, and i chose Alphacube. Is there a place where i can have explications for the installation? What should i do within this folder ?
Thanks a lot.

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!
What do I have to install/add/do to make this work? Alphacube is the prettiest theme here and I'd very much like to use it! :) Philip.

I've created a package for Ubuntu and saw that you hadn't mentioned your name on README, am I right? So if you're a developer or contributer of this decoration could you please add your copyright line into the source package. In case you want it included into Ubuntu's package's copyright file.
Thanks.

I have noticed a problem when i set theme color for this windec to "Use the theme default's color settings". The problem consists that when I restart the kde session this option return to value: "Use KDE's color settings".
Bye and congratulations for the windec theme.
Excuse me for my bad english.

Try
./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
(this is the crucial step...)
make
and finally as su
make install
Then you'll find it in the usual place...

here comes:
the coloring. i'd like to choose my own colors (i like a blueish look) but that's very hard - can't you seperate the coloring of the buttons from the windec itself?
second, there seems to be an artifact, 1 pixel (yeah i notice) just within the thin line surrounding the windows. maybe it is only possible to see it if you look closely, but it is there.
third, the botom of the window has a problem: the thin line going around the window doesn't continue here, there is a gap.
last, in the original screenshot the glowing effect is cool. better than the gradient in this windec... can you reproduce the look of the original windec for gnome?
i hope you can fix these. great work, by the way, and i'd love to see the sources (i'd like to try and change stuff, 'course i'll send you the changes).

kwin/config/.libs/kwin_Alphacube_config.so
kwin/config/.libs/kwin_Alphacube_config.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped
After the make distclean, check to make sure the .libs and .deps directories are gone, then you can repost the tarball.

With the titlebar colours you can play around. Just experiment... Again, default is the original colour
PS: Can't look at your screenie. Is your server down?
