Maybe I'm getting old & sentimental, but this kind of thing is really starting to bug me. It bugs me in the sense that it's just mean-spirited.

I consider the open source thing to be a community built on innovation, sharing and respect. Personally, I think this type of imagery degrades that.

I'd suggest Linux has surpassed the old Microsoft benchmarks and that it's time we got past the "attack the MS figurehead" mentality. If you lie down with dogs, etc, etc.

Sorry to come across so heavy. I'm just using this as an opportunity to offer my $0.02 about this kind of stuff. :-)

Yeah, that's why I generally like the BSD community more, there is too much childish hostility in the Linux one.
