Description:

TDE is an set of various karamba themes:

tcal - displays a calendar
tdisk - shows disk space usage of the first 9 mounted devices dynamically.
tmessage - Displays the last lines of a log file of your choice, default is /var/log/messages .
tnote - shows your own notes on your Desktop (change them by doubleclick)
tperf - shows performance information such as CPU-load, Memory usage and Network traffic
tpower - Shows temperatures, fan speeds and voltages (requires sensors)
twho - shows which users are logged in on your machine
tnetstat -shows outgoing connections and the applications that are connecting.

Requires:
superkaramba
kwrite (if not available change code in tnote.theme)
sensors (for full function of tpower)

- Second set of background images
- Graphics, minor corrections
- Icons
- Code clean up
- Optimized query intervals to reduce CPU load.

- TDisk now shows drives automatically. No further configuration required.
- TNetstat (new)
- TMessage is now configurable: You can set the log file you want to display by clicking the little screwdriver.
- Install script

I was planning to show the current date in an different color, but it's not as easy as I thought, to make it look proper.

Take a look at the code, I'd be cool if someone could give me a hint!

Really nice theme, where did u get the background image? I searched whit no results...

Very, very nice.

But those temp and fan sensors needs to be configured. Do you have some information about it?

Thanks. Please have a look at the README, that comes with TDE. It's roughly described there. If you can't cope, look at the comments of my tmon-Theme (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6977 ), it's described there in detail.

Wow, u really have something here. I guess this is more then enough to replace tmon.

BTW, has anyone been able to use superkaramba on kde 3.2 without hiccups ??

Yes, i just emerged it and it works fine. I'm using 1/2 kde3.1.5 and 1/2 kde3.2 though. (it's half installed :)

Well have u installed kdelibs ? The new window manager doesnt seem to like karamba/superkaramba. The thing is these modules seem to use fake transparency to merge with the desktop. In kde 3.2 upon loading it obeys these rules, but on top if you start a new application, tmon etc. appears on top of these ...
