However, is there a way to run it now on a KDE4 desktop? plasma can use karamba stuff, but I get following error in .xsession-errors:
Kross: "Error error=Import of the PyQt3 module is not allowed. Please use PyQt4 instead. lineno=17 trace=
File "/tmp/kde-evdvelde/runningThemes/fqiPEA/aRoK.py", line 4, in <module>
# aRoK "Alpha (Molokai)" by Lechio, Alessandros1pt@yhahoo.com.br
Can I circumvent this? Thanks in advance, great work!

A plasmoid will be done from scratch it's, in my opinion, the best solution.

Now I've tried to remove aRoK and reinstalled again, but when I click on the .skz file superkaramba crashes.

Alas on my next startup, Supakaramba informs me via KDE Crash handler of a signal 11 (SIGSEGV). I am gutted to say the least as I've tried everything to resolve this. Forgive me, I am a novice learning fast but I should say that I have a pclinuxos setup with s/karamba 0.359 pre-installed. I upgraded to 0.39 when this prob started. no joy. Oddly it is still shown on list of my s/karamba themes and shown as installed on the theme's list "Get More Sruff" window. I have also tried ur suggestions to astronomer
Please, Please help.

Making the change, appear a window that says that arok could be runing or not. After, crash!, and:

One suggestion for improvement, though: pictures (and amarok album art) are pretty low quality most of the time. Especially album art is very 'pixely'.
Anyway, super job. I don't know how you can be only at 70%+, 85 should be the minimum :)

Okay, I'll try another issue. :) I use the keyboard to control amarok. But aRok doesn't listen to the status. It updates the currently playing song, but when I press my 'pause' button on the keyboard, aRok doesn't change the 'screen' accordingly.
And I alrealdy noticed I'm wrong. It just takes like 5 seconds. I'm a bit impatient. :)

This is a thing that will be allot better handled when we change from the current method (DCOP) to D-BUS, available in amarok 2.
