Looks good. It should definitely be on the default GNOME theme.

was just about to ask the same..a ful set would be nice. in fact a full theme where everything but the folder icons are symlinks to the gnome icon set

my only purpose was to change the folder icon, create another icon set it's a hard work!
why a 24px image? *.svg in the scalable folder will replace the actual one

The current GNOME folders are ugly and they're not trying to make them looks better.

By downloading gnome-icon-theme component from SVN :] .

GNOME webpage has some icon about downloading GNOME (and other things - "components") from SVN.

no, i'm not a developer of the gnome artwork, the only way to obtain these icons is to download them from the link
