i'm gentoo user and not a big fan of many gentoo-inspired wallpapers, colour schemes and so on ...but this splash just looks cool :D ...especially those icons ;)

Looks ok, but the G needs to be sharper. It looks like there are some pixels on the edges that didn't get selected when you cut and pasted or whatever. Keep it up though.
