Processor KDE
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
This is my Idea of Fantastic model of the Real KDE. :)))
In every New job i try make new original form.
All elements of 'KDE Processors' was HandMade. But only 1 element i get from
/usr/share/wallparers -(Circuit.jpg - in RedHat 7.3) because it's principle and based of this Idea.

1. mkdir Processor-KDE (case sensitive)
2. mv the zip file into this dir and unzip it then remove the zip file
3. cp splash_top.png Preview.png (so you have a prieview.)
4. vi Theme.rc and make it look like this.
******
[KSplash Theme: Processor-KDE]
Name = Processor KDE Splash-screen
Version = 1.0
Author = Andrey Doubinine /Russian Designer/HD Dev_iS inc./mail to: mycfg@bk.ru
Engine = Default
Icons Flashing = true
*****
Note one important thing. the name of the dir and the name in the KSplash Theme line of Theme.rc must be identical, and preferably without a space.
5. cd ../
6. tar -czf Processor-KDE.tgz Processor-KDE
7. Now try using kcontrol to load it up.

Great shame really because it really is a nice piece of work but I suppose now that the originator has posted it, he ignores it from now on.
Very disappointing.
John.

For starters it is in zip form instead of the required gz. Second it has no preview.png and although I repackaged the apps with your preview picture from here and made it a gz package, while it appears in the Mandrake Look & Feel SplashScreens
it still does not open or operate and it defaults to the standard splash screen.
Any ideas would be welcome because I especially like the look of your splash screen.
Cheers. John.

/home/~user/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes
Just put the folder in there and copy a theme.rc file and modify it a little. I too like to have a file that i can just plop right into the ksplash program but if you really like it then just install it yourself.
