Description:

This is a tarball containing two bootsplash images (one for 1024x768 and one 800x600).

The 1024 one is slightly different than the 800 one (the preview) but the xcf is included in the tarball, so feel free to change it to suit your tastes.

Frankly, I can't remember how to make the required initrd for these images to work, but I do have one I created some time back. If you need to initrd, just drop me a line at ciasaboark at speedfactory dot net and I'll give you a link.

/sbin/splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/(yourtheme)/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg >> /boot/(your kernel's initrd)
