First attempt at a splash screen. Needed to fill the void of my linux box having to boot all the way into KDE before I saw any of the pictures..

hmmm
I'm the type that needs a reason to do something. Don't wanna steal your thunder, but... I might be able to help ya out with some Cowboy Bebop icons. I've wanted to make my own icon set, maybe I can slip em to ya first so ya can take a peek and see if ya wanna use em?

now.... to find a snazzy program to make some icons on....

in the mean time I'll design em in TheGIMP.... transform em to whatever format they need to be later :)

and off to watch some Bebop for inspiration :D

Sorry about that.. it was a setting in the file management control that had anonymous user access turned off.

It's changed now to work.

Good to know that my first 2 submissions had been accepted rather well. I am working on an update to this one already .. some better load icons are needed.

I should have an update soon :)

Also going to be working on some other anime ones this weekend.

Ok, anyone have any sugestions as to where to look for some Anime like/related icons I can use to replace the dull and drab current ones?

I am not having very good luck in finding some I can make work properly. Will try some non-anime ones tonight to see if they work well in the screen.

Well, my personal opinion is to check out the Slick Icon Set. Amibug hasn't updated it in a few months, but I use them on all my boxes. iKons are nice (really, they are quite nice), Crystal is just too... Win*-ish for me... I think the Slik Icons are a very inovative set.

Just MHO, of course.

(I'm currently moving over to SuSE from Mandrake. I was some-what shocked to find that Slick was a defaut-ly available Icon Set! Cool! I would've installed it anyway, but... All I had to do was compile Mosfet's stuff and I was good-to-go!)

This is a great start! Just a couple suggestions:
1) maybe use a different picture - something more sexy perhaps :)
2) use differnt icons - I dunno if crystal would fit but the ones you have right now certainly don't

Once again though, great start! (I could never do it :))

Oh, but she is oh so sexy though. That is one of the best pictures in my collection IMHO :)

As for the icons .. that was the hardest choice sofar :} I should find some better ones.. will look through the archives for some better.

I plan on making a few others though.. so, I'll have some more R and NC-17 ones soon ;)

Hey now, come on! That happens to be Faye Valentine, one of my favorite anime character. I happen to think she's one of the sexier anime females out there, but that's me.

But hey, maybe I'm just weird. :P
