Then save the following lines to a file called Theme.rc in that directory.

2) copy a "theme.rc" from one of the other directories (you can modify it's contents a bit if you want to);
3) make a directory in the newly created directory called "locolor" and copy the set of images into it. You can use theGimp to reduce the colors of the images because that's what this directory is for;
-you can now configure the theme by using the control panel -
4) it is also nice to make a nice screenshot of the splash -again- by using theGimp, this one should be 300px wide and named "Preview.png".
All these steps should be done as root.
