Description:

This should improve look and feel of form elements in Firefox or Epiphany: buttons, drop down menus, check boxes, radio buttons, etc. Goal is to make all elements look like Clearlooks gtk2 theme.

Install intructions:
Unpack archive into /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/res/

Restart and enjoy.

I know this is not perfect. I'm not a coder but I managed to adapt some other platform-forms.css. Although not perfect, it is improvement over those ugly blocky buttons. But, some buttons are not themed, I don't know why. Like Gmail for eaxmple, somthing work some don't. If anyone is willing to hack this into something better working, I would be very happy. I've made this since I couldn't stand blocky buttons.

Great to see this being taken up. However due to internal bugs with Firefox trunk build, we need to work around to get this theme installed.

I have gotten it to work but admittedly am not a coder. Here is what I have and most elements do work. Perhaps you could support Firefox trunk as I would love to get everything working harmoneously in clearlooks.

Not perfect, but a tremendous improvement. One thing -- it seems that this is used for some checkboxes, but not for others.

Also, for epiphany users, install in /usr/lib/mozilla-version/res/.
