(easy) Instructions are included in the package.

Just unpack and follow the Instructions.

For standard units (Fahrenheit), just add "--imperial" behind "conkyforecast" in the weather data (~/.Conky/weather):

${execpi 1800 conkyForecast --imperial --location=XXXXXX --metrespersecond --template=~/.bin/conky/conkyForecast.template}

Should work with all resolutions with a minimum width of 1200.

Sollte mit jeder Auflösung ab einer Breite von 1200px laufen.

Um die Linien im Hintergrund zu nutzen musst du das Bild "Lines.png" mit Gimp öffnen und als Ebene in die Linke obere Ecke deines Wallpapers editieren.

I'll do that.But what do you mean "put the image to the wallpaper"? How?

With the previous version , the weather would't show. So I fixed it by putting the area code , the partner id and key , directly into the code line with the web adress (to get the weather info) and it worked.
Now ,could you explain how to insert the lines , to the backround?

Thanks for your work, very pretty.
US users should note that the weather id is your zipcode.
I've been trying to figure out how to change to fahrenheit from celsius, but I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Sry, wie gesagt ich bin ein neuling und versuche mich wirklich extrems anzupassen und zu lernen wie das alles funzt, aber da bin ich jetzt überfragt xD.

Hey Daniel,

ich habe soeben die Anleitung überarbeitet.

Ignoriere Punkt 2 und wende stattdessen dies hier an:
"[...]
2. Terminal öffnen und folgendes eingeben:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:conkyhardcore/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install conky-all conkyemail conkyforecast
[...]"

For me it overlaps with the date of the mail! The monitor is 22" and resolution is 10920x1080.I have not yet set up a weather forecast!

You have to install the Fonts, wich are in the "Fonts"-File!

The weather doesnt work with me, i tried many many times and still dont know whats the problem

i insert the ID, Key and even the weather ID but still the icons does not appear on the screen

I've done it for you.

Just replace old datas and add "weather2" and "conkyforecast2.template".

That should work.

You have only to adjust the "ygap" in "weather" and "weather2" to place it where you want to have it.

AND:
You have to replace my Weather ID with yours of course. ;)
