it'd be plenty fine with the button icons if they were using a nifty font there and was centered on the circle. then a new splash for standsolid.

I like the main image. I'm not so sure about the use of ASCII instead of the more traditional icons, as the correspondence between them and the stages of starting up are not apparant. Did that make some sort of sense?

I'm gonna give it a go though as it's hard to judge a splash without the animation and it does look good :-).

You've already answered your question..
by putting those chars i've broken that triviality... so i hope u understand that... But i'll fix this on the next version...
it's just the 1st stuff of a theme that i'm preparing and then u'll understand why...
