Maybe "a bit" late, but...
In kxkb config windows, replace layouts' names (like "en", "fr", etc) with " " (a space).

Sorry, I forgot to ask, how do you install these flags? I cannot find any png files under same names in my system, so a little help would be great here.

Sorry, my bad, there is an install file withing the archive. PLease ignore. But I still cannot remove the letters. Anyone ?

Cool flags, thanks for submission.

But is there any way to remove those 2 letters from keyboard switcher? Flags behind them are nearly unrecognizeable :(
