Description:

t was april 2002 when I first started designing a little 48x48 icon and published it at kde-look.org.
It was an alternative “trashcan" for KDE 2. Since then I’ve continued designing icons and started many themes to increase my skills and improve design quality, these were: "Desktop icons", "Sky", "Lush" and finally "Nuvola".

It tooks me more than a year to reach version 1, the more professional, consistent and complete Nuvola theme ever released, it will turn your KDE in an eyecandy colourful desktop.

If you never tryed Nuvola what are you waiting? give it a try! For the others waiting this release since a long time… download Nuvola 1.0 now!

Crystal is a very good theme, though I prefer Nuvola for the clean, polished appearance (It's my current desktop theme). An excellent work!.

First of all, excellent work. But it would be awsome if there was a SVG version of this theme.

not yet, there are some old version included in te gnome-themes-extras package, available at http://librsvg.sf.net/theme.php

This is not a firefox icon theme. This is to be installed as KDE system icon theme.

Hello, I am Artemio, the author of kde 3.3 sound set. I am using kde 3.2.3 yet (waiting for suse 9.2) with Nuvola 1.0 that I've been waiting since rc1. I love it, that's all I can say! ;-) Along with your sky wallpaper, it gave me a fresh desktop look that I've been savvy for. Thank you very much!

again I've found a little issue, in the select folder-dialog (in juk) closed folder-icons look great, but the line (on the right of the icon) isn't changed when the folder is opened, this is really minor but when you notice it, it really gets on the nerves...

I'm alone doing this with great passion, there is a mailinglist on my site to report "bugs" that I'll fix with next releases and patches.

Here it is. Nuvola 1.0, official release. Wonderful work. Your dedication amazes me. You even did over the tray icons! They look beautiful . . .kopete, kmail, klipper, all of them!

I think your icons will continue to spend alot of time at the top of the kde-look "highest rated" list.

In Kopete the ICQ-Icon looks damn ugly, doesn't match the rest imho.
Another thing would be the smilie before the Contactname in Kopete, would be nice if this would be changed to something nicer...
I don't like the kmix icon (in systray) aswell, should be 'rounder', perhaps resizing the little yellow thingy at the end, make it a bit larger, might solve this.
The Kopete-systray icon should be changed to the same icon it has in the k-menu..
well, thats all i can think of now, besides this a very good iconset, looks far more professional than crystal, very neat indeed. Keep up the good work :)
