What folder do I copy that to so it is added to the fonts list of KDE?

There are good directions for RedHat 9 on this page: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/ref-guide/s1-x-fonts.html
Don't know if it works on your distro :/ On my RedHat 7.3 it was possible to copy the fonts to right directory in KDE Control Center.

Depends on which way you look at it. As the developer of the client application, a change on the server is a server problem from my perspective. From weather.com's perspective, it is my problem ... so I've fixed the client.
