This is a small Kommander Script to create a GUI for dvdbackup.
I made it because it can be run on any platform with kommander installed and dvdbackup available (which may be more platforms than kdvdbackup or other binary frontends are available for)
This relies on:
dvdbackup
lidvdcss (optional)
There is a lot of room for improvement here. Feel free to spruce it up a bit and send me the new .kmdr file and i will update this.

version 5:
- added option to eject disc after backup
- no more space character at the beginning of the disc name
(I don't think any filesystems allow directory names starting with a space, but just in case this fixes it)
- cosmetic fixes
version 4: cosmetic fixes and typos
version 3:
- no longer needs lsdvd
- directory setting is now saved for later
- added more clear "progress" dialog.
version 2: small cosmetic fixes

I am having problems finding the dvdrom under /dev/hda. When I click on "detect drives" the program only shows me /dev/hdb serveral times. But to read the DVD from there doesn't work.
What to do? :(

Download extract in konqueror and click.
Faster than any klik program and if you add a burn feature it could be better than k9copy.

Anyhow, k3b is better for burning than anything I could ever make.
