The problem, as I see it, is that I'm being forced to use a specific version of aclocal and automake to generate the configure file for the admin directory. There should either be a more graceful way to tell me that I need a specific version of the automake tools, or there should be no check for a specific automake version.

Instead of letting Firefox Quickstarter start automatically at boot time* I made a shortcut for Kicker that starts first Firefox and then Quickstarter.** When using this shortcut first time after booting, Firefox need the regular time for starting. Beginning from the second time Quickstarter works.
* The function 'start automatically with kde' didn't work for me anyway. I started it with ~/.kde/Autostart but it took much to long for starting and regularly it couldn't start Firefox.
** Here is the simple command I use:
firefox; firefoxqs
The order is important. If you would start firefoxqs first the shortcut wouldn't open Firefox when clicking on it first time after booting.

Hi it seems that firefoxqs and kmail / kwalletmanager autostart do not fit well together.
firefoxqs seems to hide the passworddialogwindow. kmail hangs and can't be started any more.
Only during shutdown the wallet-password dialog window pops up again - without borders - waiting for input
starting firefoxqs AFTER kmail/kwalletmanager all seems to work fine.
