Anca is a H.323 client for Qt 3.x. It means that it allows communicating (voice/video) with other similar clients over the TCP/IP network (internet), eg. Gnomemeeting. Anca means Amazing Net Call Application and is also the name of the project which Anca was originaly part of. This project ran at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague, see iptel.matfyz.cz. It was written from scratch based on Qt (Qt/embedded) and OpenH323 libraries with respect of embedded devices (PDAs, hardware telephones).
