Here's my contribution to the desktop section.
I'm running KDE 3.1 ontop of Gentoo
The wallpaper was found here
Window decoration is Plastik
On the right is Liquid Weather and Glas-news (modified)
Above is Slickbar (heavily modified)
I switched clock fonts cuz I couldn't read the original. The XMMS panel has been chopped down and I wrote a function that scrolls the title. It's a pretty slow and choppy scroll because I had to do it by cutting out a letter at a time. Any idea how to do smooth scrolling?
The Stats panel next to XMMS was custom built and pulls its info form LM-Sensors.
There are two "QuickLaunch" panels because the first one isn't a QuickLaunch. I built another panel that would do custom popup menus. All you have to do is add a folder and fill it with desktop config files and the panel will create a custom popup menu that you can use to run whatever's in the folder it'll handle as many as you can create.
If anyone's interested I'll post the code for it.
I think that's it. I use a lot of shortcut keys so I don't need many controls. I also really like clean looks.. so sexy :o)
So that's it.. Lemme know what you think.

I also try to keep my fingers on the keyboard as much as possible. It's my favorite way to navigate.
Thanks for the suggestion though!
