Description:

This consists of two packages:

gtk-qt-engine is the theme engine and is the only required package. It works standalone.

gtk-qt-kcm is the KControl module to configure the theme engine. It is optional.

Package developers may also download the source RPM.

Instead of downloading and installing you may simple add this source to YaST:

Type: http
Server: www.polinux.upv.es
Path: /mozilla/varios/rpms/suse/9.2

The source code of GTK-QT can be found here:

Hi,

I have just installed gtk-qt rpms for SuSE 9.2 buuuuuut, I dont know why gtk apps deny to switch to qt theme.. :(

For example I switched my Kde's apps theme to "plastiq" but Gtk dont change its the same boring gtk-default theme, Then I've tryied with ,NET, keramik, kde1, etc etc And no results...

I think that I might need to modify some line in some file.. dont you think so??

thanks

I see this post is appearing in Gnome-Look.org. Now I can start to understand why is people voting bad. I published it in KDE-Look.org and it's intended for it, not for Gnome-Look.org. If you're visiting Gnome-Look.org and you don't use KDE, this post is not for you. Ignore it. But don't vote good or bad just because of a site design problem.

Does anyone know if there is a QT-GTK engine out there to make KDE apps look like GTK apps?

Thx

As far as I know, there isn't. Perhaps you could find a KDE style that fits in your taste and use GTK-QT to have both toolkits looking the same way.
