Hi,
great image, nice! :)

but how can i chance the splash screen from gimp?

If you want to change splash for GIMP, you just need to copy this picture in GIMP's folder "images" ( SuSE : /opt/gnome/share/gimp/2.0/images/... this is just example ).

Maybe you want to try another splash for GIMP. I called him GIMP Penguin and you may find them on site. This is for now splash for my GIMP.
