Description:

These are some Textures/ Backgrounds for Konqueror. Just start konqueror and go to "View -> Backgroundimages". Give the path to the images and refresh/ restart your konqueror.

sorry, but is it illegal to download and use these? they are (C), and you give no explicit permission for any use, be it home or professional...

yes. I was of the same opinion like Brandybuck. Of course you can download and use them, you don't need a permission.
But for modifiying the images, you need permission.

As the author has given you implicit permission to download them by giving them a download link, it is indeed legal to download them. The lack of license only means you can't redistribute them.
