reason for voting down

as an uploader, i find it very irritating when people vote my uploads down without giving any reason.
i can understand some don't like my work but i have no idea how i could improve it.
i think it would be a good idea to remind people about commenting every time they vote anything bad.
an extreme (perhaps too extreme?) version would be not to let people vote down without providing a comment.
ps. please, don't vote this upload down without giving a reason...

An alternative would be to replace the up-down voting by a rating system, where a few criteria (up to three maybe?) could be rated from 1-5. This would in effect "force" the user to leave more detailed comments without having to write an essay.

we will be full of comment like "good"
"ok"..etc..
i don't know that can be exist a valid system-comments to satisfied all of us
i prefer a blank page instead 10 comments like show above..:)

my dream system would be just simple points, 3 if you're registered, 2 if you're not, plus encouraging to comment when you vote down.

As we expent to much time for the community, we wish at least one minuteof "these" users to comment the "why" of your vote...
Cheers.

Eg. I may think something is crock but dont want to say so in writing and possibly invite a flame from an irate contributor/fan. I think its good enough to let people vote anonymously.

i said "perhaps too extreme". you're right, reminding would probably be enough.
2. flamewars etc.:
if it's just reminding, you'll still have a chance not to incite any.
3. anonimity:
i'm sorry but i think voting down anonymously just for the sake of anonymity is cowardry.
if users have the right to say they like sth or not by voting on it, i think the authors should have the right to know why their work is liked or not, too. after all it's them who'd spent a lot of time doing it.

people are different..someone come here for curiosity..or just to download a good stuff
Don't give to much importance to the feature of vote..or the missed comment
see how many times people download your work^^

it's like some journalist in the usa once wrote an article saying the americans sue one another for just about everything. as you may be guessing, he got sued by over a dozen of people...
